Cherry Tree House

Very enjoyable short break in a lovely cottage. Positive: Lovely cottage in a great location - quiet but within easy reach of places to eat and visit. The cottage was very clean and well equipped and there was a very nice welcome hamper for us. Great shower and comfy beds all made for an enjoyable stay. Negative: Nothing.

Positive: Lovely location, dog friendly, comfy bed, lovely sitting room and a good practical kitchen Negative: Would have been nice to have oven gloves or more than one tea towel as using the oven proved a bit dangerous without these. Checkout was very early and check in very late. Other than those two things it was wonderful.

House is lovely, with beautiful decor. It was really clean and well stocked with enough of all cutlery/crockery etc. that we’d require as a family of 4. Hosts reached out continuously prior to and during our stay, not that we needed to speak to them. Welcome pack we found on arrival was fantastic with lots of really nice local touches, and artisan elements not just a pint of milk. Area meant it was an easy short walk into town/harbour. We ate out nearly every night and everywhere we went was lovely food and excellent service. With lots of options in Amble and Walkworth. As a family, we’ve had a lovely Easter break and time spent visiting local attractions, going on strolls/bike rides and getting to unwind.

A great place to stay in the Northeast. Positive: Everything! The house was clean and comfortable and provided almost everything we needed for our stay. Negative: Nothing.
