Beautiful bright and airy house, really comfortable, will go again. Positive: Lovely bright and airy rooms, good beds, plenty of towels and nice welcoming pack of coffee (unfortunately no cafetier or percolator) and tea. Few sachets of shampoo and shower gel supplied and cleaning things for kitchen in cabinet. Kitchen roll supplied. Good neighbourhood, within easy walking distance of the coast and beaches, also a Co-op store not too far away. Pleasant little park close by and plenty of cafes. Negative: I could have done with a few more items in the kitchen as I cook most days. Good roasting pan, eggcups and large mixing bowls would have helped but I was able to manage. There were only 2 small baking trays for the oven, one quite tarnished and worn.
lovely place to stay. will hope to stay again in the future.
Great location and very comfortable, thanks for having us.
Overall we had a pleasant stay and the location is fantastic, very close to the beach. The decor is lovely and the house is nicely styled. It’s also great if you’re travelling with a dog, there’s a small park right next door where dogs can go off lead, and the garden is fully enclosed so it felt very safe for our dog. Unfortunately, the main issue for us was the beds. One of the bedroom mattresses was extremely soft and very lumpy, and we found it impossible to sleep on comfortably. The other mattresses weren't much. better. We ended up leaving quite sleep deprived and with sore backs, which was disappointing as a good night’s sleep is obviously important when staying somewhere away from home. The house is also on the main road, so with the windows open you can hear traffic, although this was less of an issue with the windows closed. The house itself is nicely decorated and the location is great, but due to the mattress quality it unfortunately wasn’t a very restful stay for us.
