This was a really excellent small airBnB, very well presented and comfortable for a couple. My only negative comment relates to the vehicle access to the courtyard. The listing states "Access is via a small archway unsuitable for large vehicles (including most SUVs)" and I would largely agree as the entrance is reasonably tight but not impossible in a big car by any means. The issue for us was the steep drop at the entrance which caused our car (Tesla Model 3 so relatively low by today's terms) to scrape quite significantly even when I used the maximum diagonal approach. Expect the same if you drive a low, long wheelbased car.
I spent a pleasant few days at Lobster Lodge and found it comfortable and well equipped.
We had a fantastic stay, the cottage is perfectly located by the harbour and within minutes walk to the town centre. The property was very clean and as described. It is in a perfect location for nice walks especially with dogs with a lovely view of Bamburgh Castle.
