The Bothy at Mount Pleasant

Little gem, Peaceful Haven in beautiful location . Lovely hosts, easy access to Alnmouth and surrounding areas

Contacted by our host ahead of our trip and greeted once we arrived to check everything was OK and provide information etc. We were provided a lovely welcome pack and felt very much at home in The Bothy. It has been really well thought out within the space available, and has everything that is needed for a lovely away from home stay. The decor is clean and bright and very homely, with lots of useful bits and bobs dotted around plus thoughtful pieces of furniture tucked away, like the fold down tables, but helpful to make the stay comfortable. I loved reading the previous guest book feedback and it is clear from all of the lovely comments, that the hosts are passionate about their role and really making it a great experience for their guests. So many guests making multiple returns to The Bothy. A nice stroll down into Alnmouth to find a good selection of places to eat. Really friendly place. I'd definitely recommend as a great place to stay.

A lovely place, peaceful and relaxing. Cosy and comfortable accommodation, beautiful surroundings and views, and friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. Great walks on the beach and round about and good choice of places to eat in the village.
