We had a wonderful few days at the Old Workshop, the cottage is lovely, so clean bright and spacious, great facilities with everything you would need. Great cafe and pub in the village and Wooler not far for shops. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and would definitely book again.
Nice property in a good location Positive: Everything we needed was there Negative: We had to phone up to sort the heating out as it was really cold when we arrived. We made one phone call and within 10 mins it was sorted
Comfy furniture and beds, although the pillows were a bit flat!! Lovely kitchen area, though we decided this was not going to be a 'cooking holiday' - so we didn't use the cooker or the dishwasher. We were somewhat chilly to begin with until we worked out how to work the heating! The cafe across the road was good for breakfast but our favourite place was the restaurant at Ad Gefrin in Wooler, where the choices for breakfast and brunch are varied. The evening meals are delicious too, though a bit pricey!
A lovely place to stay, incredibly homely. A nice base for exploring the beautiful area. We had a great time and would recommend. The place was very clean and had everything we needed.
