Gorgeous furnishings and comfortable home. Plenty of parking. Great location for access to Bamburgh, Seahouses and the lovely beaches around.
Enjoyable stay in a lovely property!
We had a lovely stay at the Old Barn. The house is beautifully decorated with spacious rooms. A short drive from Bamburgh Castle and surrounding areas it’s a great base to explore Northumberland. We took our dog but didn’t find a public footpath near the house.
The home is stunning, we were definitely wowed on arrival. The home is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The beds are super comfortable and we slept well. The negative points for us were the bins in two bedrooms were never emptied from the previous guests. There were used, left over shower gels in one shower. We found clothes in cupboards. Unfortunately there were a lot of cobwebs around the property. Lastly, something kept on tripping the electrics - I called the out of hours line but assuming it's a managed property, they didn't know what would cause it. In the end we found it was the outside lights.
