The views are amazing - best spot for a sunset. Easy to walk to a beach or along the coast to Bamburgh. But small beds and needs upgrading inside everywhere pretty much - the upstairs double bed mattress needs replacing, bathrooms and kitchen are really quite tatty. Lack of coffee machine a shame. Pool table and hot tub were fun. Price to quality ratio not quite right.

Undoubtedly a fantastic location - Budle Bay is a special place and Bamburgh is within easy reach. The cottage has some lovely elements - pool table, hot tub, sun room. However, it is in need of upgrade. The beds are old and uncomfortable, the cottage was not clean, the kitchen needs to be updated. It has obviously not been invested in for some time. With a premium price tag, it has a far lower spec than other similar cottages.
