Babbling Burn Cottage

What a gem Babbling Burn is. Lovely and secluded and yet 5 minutes up the road from Bamburgh, 10 minutes from Seahouses and 20 minutes from Lindisfarne, 25 from Alnwick. If you want to stay somewhere quiet in Northumberland this is the place to stay. We only cooked on night as there are so many lovely dog friendly places to eat in the area. The cottage is located about a mile up a so e track road so no road noise and very convenient for walking the dogs. Just note that, at least for EE, there is no phone signal. But the fibre broadband is super fast and WiFi calling means you won’t be out of touch. We only had to call the agent once when we arrived home to no power. It was an area wide power cut and the agent answered promptly, told us what was happening and what to expect. Very helpful. I strongly recommend this company and this cottage.

Beautiful and very clean cottage with everything you could need Positive: Loved our stay at Babbling Burn cottage. Cottage had everything you could possibly need. The whole place was immaculately clean with lovely clean decoration. Games room in the garage round the back was a lovely touch, great fun for one of the nights. The Bathrooms and shower were excellent and the bed/bedding were immaculate and very comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay here, and will definitely be returning for another weekend before Christmas. Its a 10/10 for us!!! Negative: Nothing loved all of it

Positive: A well equiped cottage, nice touch with welcome pack and logs for fire. The extending dog lead was a great idea ! Negative: Just my friend commented on lack of a large mirror in master bedroom/ bathroom upstairs.
