Beautifully clean and comfortable home with an easy walk into town and along the river. Waterfall walk is very enjoyable. Takeaway breakfast from Lunch highly recommended.
A very enjoyable stay in agreeable surroundings right on the Pennine way. House was convenient, clean and stocked with tea and coffee which is always appreciated.
The accommodation was very tidy and spotlessly clean.With very comfortable beds and sofas. Everything was there for a self catering experience. Most evenings a tawny owl would visit the field in front of the house. I would not hesitate to recommend the property or helpful staff to family and friends. Thanks.
What a fabulous cottage. Furnished beautifully with quality furniture and bedding. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location for exploring Northumberland. We were there with our 2 dogs. Would certainly recommend Only couple of niggles - you can’t let dogs out on their own there is no garden. And the windows were locked closed with no keys to open them - and it was very hot when we were there. Possibly a fire hazard so hopefully they sort it out. But I would certainly return if in the area.
