Prone to double booking so call before paying for your reservation. Positive: The location is great. It's opposite the Beamish park hotel who luckily had a vacant dog friendly room we could take for the week. It looked lovely and the people who were already staying in the lodge we booked seemed very comfy. Negative: We didn't have the opportunity to experience the venue because it was double booked and we were turned away after a 7 hour drive. We have been refunded but it could have been terrible if we'd not found another hotel. My advice is to call the park and check before paying online.
