Seaholme

Beautiful Tyneside flat in a prime location by Tynemouth metro. Parking easy on adjacent streets, useful permit provided for weekend restrictions. The decor inside is tasteful and carefully designed, making it a lovely place to spend time. Whilst the flat was incredibly clean, we did encounter a drain smell from the bathroom - the management company did their best to resolve it quickly so hopefully just a passing thing! Hope to stay here again as it was really lovely.

Could have been better, but certainly not terrible. Positive: Well located 2 minutes walk to the metro station, 5 minutes walk to Front Street & a few more minutes to the sea front itself. Negative: Three points. 1. Property was literally freezing cold on arrival; especially the bathroom. The CH was switched off. It wouldn't have taken much effort to switch it on a few hours before our scheduled arrival (especially as it had a 'Hive' controller & this could have been done remotely). 2. Unfortunately the CH then stopped working on the Sunday of our stay, to which the response of North East Escapes was not great. We worked out that the controller needed some new batteries & did it ourselves. 3. With a little more attention to detail the property could be very good, for example, why would you leave a wine stained cushion on the sofa?

Fab place if you are looking to stay in Tynemouth. Fantastic location. Walking 1 min to the Metro and 5-10 mins to Front Street depending on which end you want to be. Property was as described. The bed was huge! Would look to stay here again.
