The property was in a convenient area of the town and handy for shops. Bit noisy from the street for the bedrooms front facing onto the main street.
Great location with a great choice of bars and restaurants on the doorstep, beautiful beach minutes away and the fabulou Positive: Lovely house in a fantastic location.
Martineau House is an excellent place to stay. It is in the heart of Tynemouth surrounded by fantastic gift shops, bars and restaurants. There were no problems with noisy traffic, drunks or pubs disposing of empty bottles at the end of the night. The House itself spans 4 floors. The first having a fully equipped dining kitchen and a very unusual but cosy snug. The second has a toilet and an amazing lounge/tv area where you can relax and take in the views. The third has 2 en-suit bedrooms (1 with a walk in shower and 1 with a shower over a bath) And the top floor has another 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom that has a walk in shower. There are spectacular views of the garden, the river Tyne and the beautiful coastline of South Shields from the lounge and the 2 bedrooms at the rear along with an amazing sunrise to kick start your day. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back.
Great communication. The house is comfortable and conveniently located near shops, restaurants and the coves.
