Allendale House

Our full family stayed here for a few days and it had everything we needed, it was very spacious for 14 adults and 3 kids, the whole house was gorgeous and the beds were super comfy! The garden and hot tub area was lovely. I would definitely stay here again 😊

We had a lovely stay at Allende house where the kitchen and dinning area was the social hub leading into a well maintained garden with a hot tub. There are lovely walks close by snd the lakes or too far of a drive. The whole process fr booking and checking in and out was easy and efficient. Would recommend this stay for large groups.

Allendale House is one of those properties that look even better than in the pictures. Spacious rooms, beautifully appointed and a lovely garden that is a truly relaxing space to enjoy. There were some maintenance issues on first arrival, but these were rapidly addressed by the owner, Kath, and her friendly team. The village of Armathwaite is a little gem and the local shop, Eden Stores (directly opposite the property) is very well stocked with high quality produce, much of it local in origin. A short walk (10 minutes at a leisurely pace) takes you to the railway station on the famous Settle to Carlisle line with a regular service throughout the day. Great walks on the doorstep, and much else to explore. All-in-all, a lovely place to enjoy a holiday as a larger group, and highly recommended.
