Daisy Cottage

A very comfortable and cozy cottage, located within the heart of Corbridge. The place was spotless, and felt very homely. An array of pubs, restaurants and boutique shops within easy walking distance.

On entering the cottage we were very pleased with the appearance and the cleanliness of the property. The welcome gifts were an added bonus. The cottage overall was better than we expected. The neighbours were friendly and the location is superb, with many high quality shops in the vicinity. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms of a good size. Just a couple of suggestions for minor improvements - we thought that a bit more bedroom furniture would be useful, especially bedside tables and hooks on the back of the door for dressing gowns. Also, a chest of drawers or dressing table would have been handy. In the kitchen, a washing up bowl and draining rack would have made washing up a bit easier. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The property was comfortable and the village and surrounding countryside are great.

My husband and I enjoyed a last minute booking to get away together ahead of our 10 year anniversary. We could not recommend this place more. Corbridge is a beautiful setting - so idyllic and alive with friendly locals. A very pet friendly area, we’d love to come back with our pup! We’d like to thank our hosts for facilitating such a restorative stay.
