Perfect location in Seahouses, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Positive: This was a 1 bedroom self catering cottage for 2 people. It had a very well equipped kitchen, with everything you would need to make a good breakfast, lunch or evening meal. The bed was exceptionally comfy and very large, especially welcome after a long day of activities. There was also plenty room for clothes storage in the bedroom and a hair dryer is provided if you need one. The welcome information pack was really good and useful and the games and available books about Northumberland and the walking routes was a great idea. Parking outside the cottage was good, although be warned about the tight squeeze getting into the courtyard! The Starlings in the evening were great entertainment too. Location can not be faulted, easy access to everything in Seahouses and great views over the harbour. Definitely look out for the sunsets in the evening. We definitely choose to stay here again. Negative: The cottage could have been cleaned a bit better before we arrived, especially in the bathroom and the sofa wasn't the most comfiest. The bedroom door is a bit stiff against the floor and the blinds could be better. Also better lighting in the bedroom for drying your hair in the mirror behind the bedroom door would have been helpful and not much privacy in the bedroom if someone is sitting outside cottage 6, unless you shut the blinds, but all just minor things really.
Great stay!
Positive: Beautiful apartment in brilliant location. Everything you could need. Negative: A bit difficult to find!
Good stay liked the cottage but felt it could benefit from a little decoration as looked a bit tired Positive: The location for us as non drivers we found the bus service very limited and were unaware we had to book taxis in advance so missed out on a planned day trip to Bamburgh castle and village Negative: Transport
