Darjeeling @ The Tea Warehouse

We loved our stay at Darjeeling! On the doorstep of everything you could need, Carlo's fish and chips and fab independent shops and within short walk to Alnwick Castle, Gardens and Barter Books :) Definitely recommend this clean comfortable residence. Great value central bolthole!

Perfect place to stay when visiting Alnwick- a home away from home Positive: Accommodation is really central in Alnwick meaning it's easy to walk to all the sites. Flat was well laid out and contained everything needed for our stay. It was like a home from home. Parking isn't available (for more than 2 hours) outside the accommodation but there are a number of 24 hour car parks nearby which it's easy to move the car around if you're not using it every day. The parking disc (to use to park outside the accommodation) in the hallway was much appreciated. Negative: There was an odd smell/odour in the entry way which we never managed to work out what it was, fortunately it didn't travel up to the accommodation though.

We had a lovely 2 night stay, the flat is a great base to explore the area. Well appointed, clean with everything we needed and a great shower! The only downside was the road noise at night, 3am deliveries and street pub noise at all hours. Whilst we understood we were right in the centre, thicker blinds/curtains or wooden shutters as some other properties have might help a little, but otherwise would recommend!

Perfect for our 2 night stay. Positive: Everything was perfect.Excellent location. Well equipped , quality linens and very comfortable beds.
