Pleasant stay , accomadation comfortable but looks a little tired in places Positive: Location was great , easy off street parking , Negative: None of the bedroom windows open , which makes the upstairs smell quite fusty

Beautiful house in beautiful Northumberland ! Positive: Great location, lovely property and facilities

Lovely historic home in lively market town Positive: Great location, quiet but close to the town centre. Lovely homely feel with really well equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting room and bedrooms. Negative: The hive heating hub didn’t work and the staff member who came to look at it was unable to fix it. They said this was a recurring issue so it’s a good idea get this sorted as we were either uncomfortably hot or too cold in the evenings!

The house was lovely, a great size for two adults and a teenager. The location is very walkable into the main part of town, and the neighbourhood was quiet without being deserted - even over the weekend. Our host was communicative and provided everything we needed to know, as well as leaflets for local attractions. A personal favourite feature was the blankets for the living room - I can only imagine how snuggly they must be in winter!
