Lovely family stay Positive: The location was perfect. The apartment was clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked with towels. Parking out front was two hours with a disc provided. Free parking is available all around Alnwick. The instructions provided by the hosts were clear and easy to follow.

We arrived with a decently clean apartment, as promised, center of everything. What they do not say is that it is VERY loud and BOTH bedrooms faced the street. From the 6:10AM daily street cleaning to the early morning barking dogs and drunks out and about til wee hours. You hear ALL OF IT. I slept one decent night in the week there--out of pure exhaustion. There was one extra roll of tp, 2 shakes of salt, no tea/coffee/sugars/milk. There was no extra blanket for the couch and when asked for one, nothing offered. Poor pots/pan selection. One extra large teflon skillet with the coating flaking off into our food & 3 dishwasher pods for 8 nights. Very sterile. When lack of satisfaction noted, and partial refund requested, ABSOLUTELY no offer of anything. I've never asked for a refund for any place I've ever stayed and I was embarrassed for them that they cared nothing for their client's satisfaction. They were also a bit rude in their response. I would never rent from them again and I would recommend others do not as well. Look elsewhere. Had to be a reason no reviews were on VRBO.

Positive: Lovely flat in a central and handy location Negative: Parking was a 5 min walk away. On the street but absolutely fine. We arrived at 10.30pm and there was no key in the key box. It took us 10mins to get through to the pur of hours help line and after that the staff wee very helpful and got us in to the property.
