Comfortable central place to stay in Alnwick Positive: Good apartment in central location so easy to find somewhere to eat in the evening. Also enjoyed having the facilities to bring a take away in and enjoy that back at the apartment. Negative: Parking outside the apartment was just for 2 hours during the day which hadn’t been clear to us. It wasn’t an issue though as we found a free 24h car park just a little further away and used that instead.

Absolutely fantastic stay and easily worthy of 5 stars. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was brilliant for exploring Northumberland and we really enjoyed our time there. Communication with North East Escapes was excellent throughout and everything was straightforward from arrival to leaving. It genuinely felt like a home away from home and we’d have no hesitation staying again when we’re back in the area. Highly recommended – thanks for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic base in Northumberland Positive: Fantastic property in a perfect central location with access to restaurants and sightseeing, and a perfect base for a wider exploration of Northumberland for a week. The property was in a wonderful character house from the outside, but really lovely, clean and modern to a high spec on the inside. Two nice bedrooms which was perfect for our group of four. Perfectly usable Kitchen, which was handy as we stayed for a week and didn’t want every meal to be in a restaurant. There was even a washing machine, which came in handy as well. Overall, extremely pleased with our stay and cannot recommend it highly enough.
