Eddie's Escape

We had a great week at Eddie’s escape and were very lucky with the weather. The house was clean, comfortable and stylish, with all the amenities and equipment we needed. The harbour village in Amble is an interesting place to visit with shops, cafes and boat trips, and there are lovely beaches nearby and castles to visit.

Had a good time, met up with family Positive: The beds were very comfortable and the neighbours were friendly. Negative: Wasn’t a particular thing to dislike other than the pebbles in the back which I always seemed to be sweeping up inside the back door. I also expected a file of some kind with details re bus timetable, nearest supermarket, places of interest. We did eventually find a few sheets in a basket(which was not obvious) which gave wifi and a few other details.

Eddie's escape is a lovely property, clean and comfortable in a great location to explore Amble and the Northumberland coast. Parking can be a little tricky but not a major problem.

Really enjoyed our stay at "Eddie's Escape". House was immaculate and well appointed. Great facilities and only a short walk to Amble town. A great launchpad for heading north or south—we did both during our stay! Definitely a great find and would recommend to anyone looking for a short break in the north east.
