Home and Howay

Really clean and well located in Amble. On a loud road but not very noisy inside at all. Plenty of space with the 3 bedrooms and a travel cot there. Note there is no private parking space as stated. The house more rough around the edges than the pictures imply, but everything was functional. It would really benefit from a few home comforts (coat hooks by the door/hook in the bathroom, side tables) and kitchen utensils - like a cheese grater! Okay for very basic cooking only. A nice welcome basket was left for us, with bread and milk essentials which is a nice touch- but if youre going to do that then please provide toilet roll! Realising we were given less than a roll for a family of 4 and we had run out in the evening when the kids were already asleep was extremely inconvenient- and when we messaged to ask where we can find more they responded the next day saying there was no more and it was down to the owner not the management. Such a small detail but really inconvenient.

Disappointing for the cost in a decent location. Positive: Large kitchen with comfortable bedrooms. There were basic supplies left for our arrival like bread and milk which was a welcome surprise. Negative: The kitchen was ill equipped (only 4 wine glasses, 5 plates, 1 chopping knife) with a large demp patch on the ceiling. The oven didn’t close properly which we had to rig to stay sealed so food would cook. There was a damp smell about the property and it was very chilly downstairs.

Great stay, comfortable and clean Positive: Location was great ! Negative: Toilet seat was a bit wobbly as well as one of the tables in the lounge.

PERFECT Positive: The property was like home from home, very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable!! The rooms were light and airy. Perfect Location. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay.
