Ember Cottage

Recently refurbished to high standards - neighbours told us we were the third guests ! Mid terrace house with on-street parking but we had no problem parking just a few doors away the whole time we stayed. Most instructions were available but Matt on the 'Helpdesk" replied very quickly for help with the induction hob. Would have been helpful to describe this as 'induction' since some guests with cardiac devices are advised not to approach these once turned on. There is a not quite clear 'step' down in the hall to the dining room. The TV is 'Smart' so no terrestrial channels. A bath mat in the shower would be advisable. Six adults would probably find it 'cosy' but we were fine. Absolutely definite that we would visit again !

Found this one late and we weren’t disappointed! Felt brand new, had everything you could need in a holiday let. A really well put together house and high end finish throughout. No parking so parked up the road opposite and no issues. Easy walking distance into Amble and so well located for trips up the coast. 2 being picky points: Kitchen could do with t-towels Blinds would be better as Roman as the Venetian let loads of light in. Honestly would highly recommend to all, super house and owner and the neighbours are all champion! Thanks so much for letting us stay.

We loved staying at Ember cottage! It was just as described and pristine. The dining room is bigger than expected, and the rooms are lovely and comfy. The cottage is 5-10 mins walk from the Main Street and 15 minutes from the harbour which was lovely. Check in was easy with a code and the host was very responsive. We would easily stay again!
