I booked this accommodation for colleagues working in the area. The accommodation was great and provided all the home comforts required when working away from home. North East Escapes were excellent communication wise and super hosts.
Not a clean place at all, with hairs in the shower, bath and bathroom in general. WiFi none existent. No televisions working although she did try to rectify. Hot water pressure poor on taps in bathroom and kitchen sink. Needs to be brought into the 21st century, people expect more.
Positive: Great location for day trips and walks from the village. For a small village it has sufficient amenities with variety. Negative: Pity the Tankerville was shut, though it's only a short walk into the village to get the appetite going.
