Woodland View Lodge

Lovely place to stay as a family with a dog. Great location for the places we wanted to visit and the pictures on air b&b were a good representation of the accommodation. The owner was very welcoming and provided a welcome basket of lovely treats that the kids enjoyed. Simple homely touches like this made it all the more enjoyable with the addition of a welcome basket for the dog too! It was clean and had all the necessities. Unfortunately due to the weather we did have to stay at home one day to be safe and did experience a power cut which lasted around seven hours. However, we had plenty to do with not only what we had brought with us but also lots of games and colouring books provided by the host! The TV wasn't always reliable unfortunately and the wifi did not work for the duration of the trip but this wasn't a necessity for us. One thing we would have liked more information about in advance was the swimming, for example where this was and the need to book 48 hours in advance

Positive: Beautiful lodge, comfortable and clean. Great base to explore surrounding area. Hosts fantastic communication throughout.

We have just enjoyed a lovely few days at Woodland View Lodge.Very comfortable and clean with everything we needed, and very dog friendly. The basket of goodies was much appreciated too! We would definitely return, thank you!
