Booked for a long weekend so our daughter could get in some steps in preparation for her Duke of Edinburgh silver expedition. Lots to see and do and plenty of walks. Well placed for the Cheviots, Holy Island and Scottish Borders, also very convenient for us living in County Durham. House was very clean and airy with modern appliances and furnishings, lovely showers and beds very comfortable. Wardrobes a bit too small for a longer stay but we were only there four nights so barely unpacked.

We had a wonderful few days at the Old Workshop, the cottage is lovely, so clean bright and spacious, great facilities with everything you would need. Great cafe and pub in the village and Wooler not far for shops. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and would definitely book again.
Nice property in a good location Positive: Everything we needed was there Negative: We had to phone up to sort the heating out as it was really cold when we arrived. We made one phone call and within 10 mins it was sorted
