The Georgian Suite @ The Merchants

Friendly staff on arrival, recommended places to eat and things to see in the area. Very welcoming with access to cold drinks when the weather has been warm. Room is lovely and big and bed was incredibly comfortable. Compact but nicely fitted bathroom with good toiletries supplied. Great location for boat trips, walking the walls, town and restaurants etc. It was great to have a small kitchen so as not to have to eat every meal out. It was well equipped for just two people. The only drawback was the noise. It's a period building which makes it lovely however it does mean it isn't great at keeping out the noise - bars/restaurants getting deliveries early morning and other guests chatting in the lobby area is very noisy in this particular room. However, they do supply earplugs for this purpose. If you're a deep sleeper you'll probably be fine though.

Beautiful property in a good location. A little noise from the street but nothing substantial and not too late. Parking a little awkward if staying longer than 1 night and want to use bus/train. Had to move car from 24hr free parking at Quayside.Lovely local friendly pubs. Will definitely stay again.

What an absolute gem of a trip Great accommodation on a quiet street but surrounded by nice restaurants, wine bars and pubs. Vibrant town with independent coffee shops and nice cafes too, Berwick is a brilliant venue and location for touring around Thank you, we will be back and would recommend to anyone

This sophisticated apartment is a treat in the centre of Berwick..Very comfortable, luxurious and so much attention to detail.. We loved our mini break here..
