The Library @ The Merchants

Absolutely wonderful! Positive: The room was a lovely size with roomy shower room and toilet. Lots of free toiletries that smelt lovely. It was so quiet and cozy. The bed was massive and really comfortable. The communication with the owner was fantastic. Negative: Maybe pop a non slip mat in the shower as it was a bit slippy?

Stylish and very comfortable in great location for cafes and restaurants and indeoendant shops and the river side. Positive: Really comfortable and in a perfect location on the most interesting street in Berwick . Lovely . Negative: Very nice period details , exceptionally clean , nice comfortable big bed . Seperate toilet to shower room , coffee bags and real milk in the fridge . Staff lovely , very friendly and helpful .

The Library Positive: Berwick on Tweed was a lovely place to visit and The Merchants was a very central place to stay with very friendly host and staff. Negative: Room decor was sadly a bit tacky, screw heads very visible on fake fireplace and shelf brackets in cupboard where tea/ coffee facility was, remained unpainted. Just little details that could make such a difference. The loo also needed flushing several times.

Positive: Clean, central, so comfortable.
