Martineau House

Great stay!

Martineau House is perfectly located in Tynemouth and close to everything you need. The sandy beach is just a short walk. A historical Priory, great restaurants and a co-op are a short walk from your front door. Also, there is free parking 3 minutes walk around the corner. The house has plenty of room for a family. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast on some mornings and dinner for a couple of nights. With Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's less than 10 drive away, we made Martineau House our home away from home. Also, if you there is a problem, they will respond straight away (in our case, we needed a plumber). Yes, I will be staying there again and would recommend it.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at North East Escape’s home! Such an expansive space and great size for a group of 8! Lovely bedrooms with gorgeous views of the town and sea! Perfect location in Tynemouth - we did a day with gorgeous beach strolls and then a day in Newcastle which was really easy to get to by metro. The hosts were so responsive and accommodated us for an earlier check in! Kitchen had plenty of amenities and was great for cooking! Lovely house we will come again!! Thank you :)

We had a really perfect stay in what was a very well presented and beautiful house, which although it was right in the heart of the lively village centre was still peaceful and private. The garden was an absolute bonus. Nearby is Riley’s Fish Shack, which is utterly fabulous and really cool!
