We were participating in the half marathon and found everything appropriate for our group. Positive: Convenient for our requirements and good accommodation for 6 people

Good house right on village green Positive: Great location right in centre of village. Spacious house Negative: Showers not accessible for all guests due to on-suite and location of downstairs shower. No handwash. Very small coffee maker. Non-opening bedroom windows which caused condensation and would have been awful in hot weather.

Lovely break in Bamburgh. Positive: The location was excellent. The house was very spacious, well thought out and nicely decorated. The arrival hamper was very nice and everything was provided that we needed. Negative: It could definitely have been cleaner, especially things like pans, baking trays, cutlery and the cooker. There was lots of dust under the beds. The dishwasher wasn’t working, carpets are stained in places and there was a mop bucket left in the yard. The bathroom door got stuck when closed.

A really great location in the centre of the village, right next door shops and restaurants. The free golf round included was much appreciated, as were the free sausages.
