We spent a very enjoyable week in beautiful surroundings. Positive: The cottage is well-located - just a short walk from Bamburgh - and is very comfortable. The communal facilities (including a tennis court, gym and hot tub) are great added extras. Negative: While not an issue for us, the property is one of several onsite so may (when fully booked) be too busy for those seeking a quiet break.

perfect break in Northumberland Positive: location, the comfort of the cottage, grounds well, kept great facilities Negative: could do with a chopping board, black out curtains upstairs bedrooms, more shelving in the bathroom & a proper tea pot

We really enjoyed our week at St Aidan's Cottage. The cottage was comfortable, peaceful, and well equipped, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, and playing tennis and ping pong. The huge conservatory offered beautiful views across the surrounding farmland. Bamburgh is within easy walking distance, reached by a pleasant 20-minute walk alongside the fields and a roadside path, so there's no need to walk on the road.

Negative: Hanging space in bedroom very limited.lots of spiders in corners of rooms and behind bedside cabinets.dish drainer was dirty .fridge could do with a good clean .Not ideal if you were going for peace and quiet due to close proximity of other properties and children’s play equipment.
