Stable Cottage

Fabulous location, cottage & facilities on a beautiful, historic coast. Had a lovely stay! Positive: Stable Cottage and the other associated cottages on site are in a marvellous location, within walking distance of Bamburgh with its wonderful beach and castle. It is also a very convenient base to explore the Northumbrian coast visiting places such Seahouses (with boat trips to see seals, puffins etc on the Farne Islands, Holy Island / Lindesfarne, Alnwick Castle, Berwick etc. Stable Cottage had all the facilities to make for a marvellous stay, including free use of a small gym, tennis courts and shared hot tub. The cottage was clean and comfortable with lots of information and a lovely welcome pack provided by the owner. It had good wi-fi access. Communications from the owner were excellent. We thoroughly recommend it and had a wonderful stay. Negative: Nothing at all.

we had a wonderful time at stable cottage this weekend. Really comfortable stylish cottage, warm, snug, well equipped and peaceful. Enjoyed a glass of wine in the garden pod looking over the fields beyond, watching the sunset. The hot tub was a great luxury and although shared with the other cottages, there was never a ‘queue’. The information books in the cottage were so useful and incredibly comprehensive. We used various recommendations for places to visit and eat and used the voucher for some local sausages. We will definitely be back, loved the location and have fallen in love with Northumberland.

Lovely house in quiet spot 20 mins walk over fields and on pavement to Bamburgh. Clean house with lots of space. Communal hot tub for several properties. Free tennis and table tennis. Free golf, free sausages and food pack. Genuinely well thought out visit at fair price. Kitchen could do with some chopping boards, the odd tea towel and oven and hob a bit of a pain. That aside, excellent place
