Stable Cottage

Fabulous place too stay to explore the area but a couple of niggles prevent it from being nearly perfect Positive: Fabulous location and just a short walk across the fields into Bamburgh. Great property overall and outdoor space was good too Negative: The oven was a waste of time, took 40mins to barely warm a pizza!! Gym was ok but no weights available and running machine felt unstable

We had a wonderful family holiday at this exceptional place. Plenty to do on site, and we did make good use of it, but with the weather being so good we made sure that we were out and about everyday. It’s ideally located for exploring all of the area and an easy and scenic walk down into the delights of Bamburgh itself. This is supported by the excellent information book provided. We did lots, including the castle and beach, beach walk to Seahouses. Holy Island, walk to Budle Bay, Alnwick Castle, Craster and Dunstanburgh Castle, boat trip to Inner Farne to see the Puffins etc etc. The final piece in the jigsaw is that you return to a comfortable and welcoming home. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

We had a lovely time within the property. Great facilities. Loved the tennis courts, hot tub and table tennis. Beautiful setting with great access walk to bamburgh. Would love to visit again soon. Didn’t want to leave.

Fantastic stay at the stables cottage, fantastic location, walking distance to bambough village 15mins over a few fields, Anyone not wanting to drive for a few days this would be perfect. The place its self seemed very tired, needs updating throughout, the bed wasn’t very comfortable at all and the duvet too small for the size of bed. We had no hand soap by either sink in the property or any dish soap to wash anything if we didn’t need the dishwasher.
